Matching two sides of a sentence or short phrase that have been writtn on a stip of paer/carboaed and cut in half so only the two halves can match.
Extension
Get the students to use the idea form the puzzle in a sentence or short story (depending on their level)
2. Riddles or Nursery rhymes (Amu tamariki)
3. Race to label the board
4. Drawing instructions
5. Nursery rhymes in English - then translated in to Māori
6. 20 question based on prompts on cards
7. Topics on cards. Students describe until the others can guess (reverse headbands)
