The Legacy of Toonami has made Cartoon Network timeblocks at later

hours known to many adults and made Toonami synonymous with

Anime. It brought Anime to all sorts of people as animation for an older

audience and also brought people to places like NHK and

"Japan Cool" campaign with westerners who may have never found

Anime had got a glimpse of foreign animation from Japan. While Anime

was niche at the time since the 1960's, 1970s and 1980s the 1990s

and beyond was it's time to shine. So let us take a walk back in time.
