Normie is a English-slang pejorative Internet-title (English Language) who are societal conformists constricted by popularity restrictions of entry to anything deemed not-normal, weird, out of the ordinary, non-mainstream, and unconforming. Its use had risen as a derogatory term from people who had no sense of identity then mainstream culture and would call someone a weirdo and as a counter the term normie came as a response.

1: A conformist of social standards, accepted practices.
1a: A person who is ingrained in fad culture with no perspective of their own identity.
2: A person who adopts popularity as a means of what is good and normal or bad and weird.
2a: A person who places mainstream culture popularity as superior to non-mainstream culture
2b: A person who is easily molded to suit a societal capitalistic system of consuming and status.
3: A person who has adopted otaku or weeb culture due to societal acceptance rather than pure interest
3a: A person who is unaware about cultural influences, engaged communities, and meanings of things in the animanga community.
3b: A person of unauthentic interest of animanga or Japan and use condescending statements about the animanga community.
4: A person who identifies within the animanga community as normal.
4a: A person who falsely identifies within the animanga community as normal and justifies bullying.
5: A person converting to balance their interest with real life.
