Otaku History is very interesting with its beginnings being in Japan and then other stories globally
from all over the world. From mangaka, animators, cosplayers, and model makers – there is always a
history of the people who lived through those times and it allows you to dive into the how a culture
built on animanga and slang terms could still be around. History is the way to know what things
shaped Otaku culture as it is seen today and much of it is great to uncover.

For many there isn't much of an appeal to History of Otaku, however there are a few people to know
about through the books of knowledge that are recorded. These figures were key to understanding a
bit of Animanga that are known in Japan and around the world long since their works have been
completed or long past them leaving the world of the living. While there is much more to explore a
those that are quite notable in the industry are: Osamu Tezuka, Yoshiyuki Tomino, Katsuhiro Otomo,
Hayao Miyazaki, Rumiko Takahashi, and Hideaki Anno.
