Otaku Lexicon, Fujoshi Lexicon: rotten girl
Fujoshi is an Otaku-title (Fujoshi Lexicon) who are animanga fans in otaku culture who look for attractive male characters and works targeted towards women. Those identifying as gender neutral use "Fujin" in the west use the term "Fudanshi" for male. The term fujoshi is most often used for self-mocking humor or as generalized female otaku in the otaku community.

Etymology:
Fujoshi is pun from the kanji "fu" that has many definitions like respectable decent lady or rotten. The term started being commonly used in the early 2000's. It had originally meant any female who was interested in anime or manga with its own specific scene, until there were many more subtypes of fujoshi or words that were inspired from the fujoshi scene (aka. Female Otaku scene).
