Otome filter is a Otaku-slang phrase (Fujoshi Lexicon). The phrase "otome filter" is for a maiden who views the world depicting inanimate objects, men, women, animals, and anything else from a pairing perspective. It presents and represents every object or thing as pairing couples of possibility to the female viewer. It is sometimes referred to fujoshi in a joking manner as the "Rot Filter".
