Out of all the Star Wars books ever written, this book is my favorite. Out of all the Star Wars-related things ever made, this book is still my favorite. Ultimate Star Wars: New Edition is an incredible encyclopedia of everything Star Wars, from pages filled with details and stories about every single character, location, artifact and vehicle to exclusive information about how the movies were made.
For a Star Wars geek who wants to learn more and more, Ultimate Star Wars is the perfect companion. This book was published 1 month before The Rise of Skywalker, but it still contains multiple profiles on things featured in the movie. THIS BOOK IS GREAT, it has a very good organized system, so you can find anything easily, tons of pictures, and more.
For someone who likes the Star Wars movies, someone who likes The Rise of Skywalker, and someone who likes the amazing Star Wars concept art, this book is perfect. The Art of Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker is filled with drawings of different elements featured in the Skywalker Saga's concluding movie. From dozens of sketches of the Sith Trooper to detailed diagrams of Rey's blaster, this book has tons of great art, and whether you want to know more about the movies or you just want to see some amazing drawings, this book is perfect.
I do think that this book is perfect, except for one thing that pops up in all of The Art of Star Wars books: the most revealing art (the art that would feature spoilers for the movie) is not in this book; it is revealed in the next book. For example, at the beginning of the book, there is a section of art from the previous movie, The Last Jedi. This book doesn't feature art of Palpatine or any of the crucial scenes in the movie. All of the art is amazing, but I just think it would be nice to have it all, because where is the missing artwork in this book, because where is it going to go? There is no next movie in the Skywalker Saga after this one. Ah, well. But in all, the art in this book is amazing and very enjoyable, making this book at the top of my list.
What were Luke Skywalker's most heroic moments? Who has the best hairdos in the galaxy? What is the opening crawl text for every single Star Wars movie? The Star Wars Book of Lists can answer all of those and more. With 100 Star Wars lists filled with information about characters, planets, vehicles, and lightsabers, you will have a brain full of Star Wars knowledge in no time! This book is also up to date with some of the latest Star Wars content, including The Rise of Skywalker and Star Wars: The Mandalorian.
Really good book in all, just like all of the Star Wars reference books. When I first saw the title 'Book of Lists', I didn't realize the lists would be so creative. I thought it would be 'All of the X-Wing Pilots in A New Hope', not 'Chewbacca's Best Temper Tantrums!' So these lists manage to be really creative and also informative; I actually did not know some of this information. So in summary, the Star Wars Book of Lists is a great reference and a great read.
