Jack grows up at St. Barnaby's Home for the Hopeless, Abandoned, Forgotten, and Lost. It is a dreary life, and he fears he will never get out of it. But then, a Robo-Zombie straight out of one of his favorite comic books attempts to kill him, and Jack is whisked away to the Imagine Nation - an incredible place where all things amazing and fantastic in our world come from. Jack learns that he has a very amazing power. Whether he will use it for good or for bad - that is up to him.
I put this book under Fantasy because it seems logical. But in reality, the Jack Blank books are a combination of fantasy, science fiction, and superhero stories, because they utilize all sorts of characters. It's a great combination of my favorite genres and I really relate to the main character because he is really unsure of himself but he rises to better heights and grows more confident in himself.
