It's time. Apollo is almost a full Olympian god now, but he has one more trial to face. There is one more existing Emperor, and he is the most powerful of them all: Nero. And even if Apollo can defeat him, he must also beat his old nemesis Python. The stakes are high.
This is probably the conclusion that everyone's been waiting for since 2016, but since I'm not able to put spoilers in these reviews, I can't tell you what happens. All I'll say is this: Apollo does become a god again. Nothing else. But I really feel like Rick Riordan did a good job in ending the series, but he still left some questions and things unanswered, but I just really feel a sense of resolve for all of the characters and all of the problems. Apollo has really changed over the series, too, and I think that the last line in the book is a perfect way to symbolize or show that.
Call on me. I will be there.
