Wings of Fire: Winglets

Fierceteeth is a prisoner in the SandWing stronghold, desperate to get out. She takes advantage of her guards and tells her tragic tale to convince them to let her get out. Will the guards listen? Deathbringer is desperate to prove himself as a great NightWing assassin - which means he must shape up and become deadly. Six-Claws serves loyally under Queen Oasis until her death - where he is forced to follow Burn. But how far will his loyalty go when serving an evil queen? Prince Arctic of the IceWings has fallen in love with a NightWing and now he must decide whether to stay with his tribe or follow his heart and escape with Foeslayer.

All four of these stories are great, and they offer a lot of insight into some of the lesser-known, but still very interesting, characters. I didn't like the ones about Fierceeth or Arctic as much because their characters aren't as interesting to me. But the ones about Deathbringer and Six-Claws are really fascinating - and we find out how Dune gets injured! Deathbringer also seems very deadly before he turned good.

In all, these short stories are super fun to read and I love all of the new information I gained. Wings of Fire: Winglets might have some of the best characters, plots, and plot twists yet!
