Percy Jackson and the Olympians

Kronos, the evil Lord of Time has finally risen, and is planning an invasion of Percy's hometown of Manhattan. And to add to that, the time of the Great Prophecy is at hand - Percy's 16th birthday is in a few days - and Percy will make a fateful choice that will either save or destroy Olympus.

This book, out of all of the books in this series is my favorite, because of its epic climax. I'm not going to spoil anything, but the end is just so dramatic and I like how it resolves at the end. Percy makes a choice, all right, but it's not him who saves Olympus (no spoilers!). Percy becomes a really noble hero in this book, and it's the perfect ending to Riordan's first series.
