Other Ground Transportation Options

• Both major rideshare companies, Uber and Lyft, provide on-demand and scheduled rides to and from the airport. Ride shares can be accessed on Island 5 of either side of the terminal (East or West).

• Taxicabs are readily available and provide service to the Denver metro area and surrounding counties.

• Amtrak comes in to Union Station in downtown Denver. From there take the W line train from Union Station to Oak Station, THEN take bus line 17 the last 2.5mi to the hotel.  

• Notes: Google maps works very well with RTD and stays updated with delays. RTD is very reliable.

• Cost: $35 per person, each way, including gratuity

• Travel time: Approximately 45 minutes, depending on traffic

•  Minimum: 10 passengers per trip

• Accessibility: Airport shuttle vehicles are not ADA-accessible.

• Registration: Sign up and pay during convention registration.  After March 1, 2027, a Denver Concert Band member will contact registered passengers for:

  • Airline information

  • Arrival time

  • Instrument information to ensure adequate van space

•  If there is insufficient participation or compatible arrival times, the trip may be canceled.

• Affected passengers will be notified and refunded by April 1, 2027.

The Denver Marriott West in Golden, Colorado, will be the location of clinics and concerts during the Convention.  

The rate of $179 per night has been arranged for Tuesday, May 18 through Sunday, May 23, 2027. Reservations must be made by Tuesday, April 27, 2027, to secure this rate.  Check-in is at 4:00 PM.
