Reading Bands - ACB Member Composers & Frank Ticheli 

Registration closes on April 7

On Saturday afternoon there will be two reading band sessions.  One will showcase music by ACB Member Composers.  The second session will  feature the music of Frank Ticheli.

 Musicians must sign up for both Reading Band Sessions when registering for the ACB 2027 Convention. Space is limited to wind ensemble instrumentation.

 The sessions are scheduled one after the other for Saturday afternoon:

1:00 PM - ACB Member Composers Reading Session

2:00 PM - Reading Session: Music of Frank Ticheli

• Four conductors selected through an application process will each conduct a piece during the Ticheli session. Frank Ticheli will provide feedback to each conductor and the band.

• ACB Member Composers works will be selected through a submission process to be announced soon.

• Reading Band participation is open to everyone, even those not participating in the Convention Band.

• Indicate on the convention registration form if you would like to participate.
