General Information

Registration deadline: April 15
Transportation: $35 round-trip transportation fee per excursion
Transportation method: Passenger van
Accessibility: ACB excursion vans are not ADA-accessible.
Admission: Participants pay individual admission costs at the attraction.
Coors Brewery exception: Admission is collected in advance during registration to secure the prepaid group rate.
Minimum: 15 participants per excursion
Refunds: If the minimum is not met by the deadline, refunds will be issued on May 1, 2027.

NOTE: These excursions overlap with other Convention activities, such as clinics and Convention Band rehearsals. Please check the schedule to ensure you are able to attend.

Excursion Conflicts:

Wednesday - Idaho Springs conflicts with the Board Meeting and clinics.
Thursday - Downtown Golden/Coors
- Morning departure conflicts with the Convention Band and clinics.
- Afternoon departure accommodates Convention Band participants but conflicts with clinics.
Friday - Red Rocks conflicts with the Convention Band and morning clinics.

Idaho Springs

Wednesday, May 19

Duration: 5 hours. Excursion is from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
Participants will pay for admission on site for this excursion.
With options of Mighty Argo Cable Car ride and Argo Mill/Tunnel guided tour.

Downtown Golden and Coors Brewery

Downtown Golden (free) and Coors Brewery: These are within walking distance of each other and are combined into one excursion.

Two runs:

11:00 AM to 1:45 PM
2:00 PM to 4:45 PM

Return pick-up is at a parking lot on the corner of Ford and 13th. Registrants must adhere to the pick-up time that corresponds to their departure time due to limited van capacity.

Downtown Golden, Colorado (free)

Golden's charming downtown, the gateway to the Rocky Mountains—shop boutiques, explore art,
grab coffee, enjoy local culture, and take in mountain views all around you.

Coors Brewery

$32.00 per person (paid with registration)

The Coors Brewery Tour in Golden, Colorado, offers a 90-minute guided experience through the world's largest single-site brewery, covering malting, brewing, and packaging, with tastings for those 21+ and non-alcoholic options for others. The tour includes historical exhibits, a commemorative glass, and a final tasting, with a gift shop available. See and taste traditional brewing at the foot of the Rocky Mountains in the largest single-site brewery in the world!

Red Rocks Park and Amphitheatre

Red Rocks is a geologically formed, open-air amphitheatre, and a premier venue for concert goers nationwide, not duplicated anywhere in the world. With Mother Nature as the architect, the design of the amphitheatre consists of two 300-foot monoliths (Ship Rock and Creation Rock) that provide a stunning setting for any performance. Red Rocks Amphitheatre is also home to a museum and dining at the restaurant in the visitor center.
