At Aberdour SOUP – The Big Community Pitch, local residents voted on six community projects designed to make a positive difference in the village.
The £6,000 community fund was shared between the projects in proportion to the votes they received, allowing all six ideas to receive support and begin moving forward.

Awarded: £1,651 (28% of votes)
Funding will help the Tuesday Club provide transport for older people who might otherwise struggle to attend, helping reduce social isolation and keep people connected with the community.

Awarded: £1,409.50 (23% of votes)
Funding will help improve and maintain the network of countryside paths around Aberdour, while making local walks easier to discover through new information, equipment and signage.

Awarded: £966.50 (16% of votes)
The Shady Pear will create a community orchard at the Silver Sands end of the Easter Aberdour Playing Fields, providing a welcoming space for people and wildlife, with fruit trees, wildflowers, community events and opportunities to learn about growing.

Awarded: £926 (15% of votes)
Funding will help Aberdour Primary School restore its woodland pond, creating a richer habitat for wildlife and a hands-on outdoor learning space for pupils to explore and care for nature.

Awarded: £564 (9% of votes)
Funding will contribute towards new outdoor games facilities, including table tennis, chess and backgammon tables, creating more opportunities for people to meet, play and socialise.

Funding will help the Aberdour Festival add more bunting and decoration around the village, creating a more festive atmosphere while helping keep the cost of attending the festival affordable.
