The Aberdour Community Action Plan is a project led by local residents, working together to understand what matters most to people who live here.
This website is a simple, live record of that work. It will be updated as we listen, learn, and agree next steps together.
Co-created by local residents, through surveys, workshops, and open conversations, a Community Action Plan is a way for residents to:
Share what matters most about living in their community
Identify what works well and what could be better
Agree priorities for future action
Use local voices to guide decisions and funding bids
We want to make sure that future decisions about Aberdour reflect what residents value.
This work aims to:
Bring together different voices across the village
Focus energy on the changes that matter most
Build a shared understanding of priorities for the future
Examples of Community Action Plans from our neighbours:
The CAP document is now published and available in paper copy (from the Aberdour Library) or in digital format.
👉 Read the CAP document online. The Action Plan will only be meaningful if it reflects the community’s voice.
There are many ways to stay involved:
Share ideas
Attend meetings or open sessions
Take part in future discussions
Help deliver actions
Everyone is welcome.
The Community Action Plan is about the whole community, and there is always a role for people who want to get involved.
Join the CAP group to help shape local priorities, develop ideas and support projects that make a difference in Aberdour.
