September 21, 1992: John Kricfalusi is fired by Nickelodeon for missing deadlines, and production of The Ren & Stimpy Show moves to Nickelodeon’s in-house animation studio, Games Productions (later Games Animations), with Bob Camp taking over as showrunner and hiring away much of Spumco’s staff. Games completes production on the remaining episodes of Season 2.
