Trefethen 'Eshcol' Bordeaux Red 2021
Oak Knoll District, Napa Valley, California
Description
Aromas of raspberry and Bing cherry are complemented by notes of leather and licorice. On the palate, dark fruit flavors are brightened by hints of black pepper, leading to a balanced, smooth finish.
Try this wine with lower fat protein and fragrant herbs, such as fennel. Winery Chef Chris Kennedy recommends Fennel Porchetta, which will accentuate its earthy notes and balanced nature.
