Gazing into the Loop – An Artistic Take on Machine Subjectivity

This project employs generative video models and visual-linguistic design to explore human-machine interactions from a machine-centric perspective.

Through iterative visual experiments, the work seeks to minimize the influence of human subjectivity, uncovering subtle emotional projections within the Human-in-the-Loop (HITL) paradigm. By translating human behaviors into visual metaphors representing the token prediction processes of AI systems, the project examines issues of agency and control emerging in the transition from generative AI toward Agentic AI paradigms, reflecting on the nuanced shifts and evolving dynamics in human-machine relationships.
