Installation & Interactive Art

MoodCam is an interactive camera installation that responds to the emotional presence of its user.

Using dual lenses, it observes both the viewer’s facial expression and the surrounding scene. These impressions are transformed into stylized photographs accompanied by generative poems—each one composed in typography that reflects the captured mood.

By combining real-time human input with algorithmic interpretation, the work explores how emerging technologies can extend our means of self-expression. MoodCam does not seek to automate creativity, but rather to collaborate with the viewer in giving form to the fleeting, the felt, the unspoken.

Rooted in the emotional and poetic, the project offers a quiet meditation on how intelligence—whether human or artificial—can be reimagined through empathy, reflection, and shared authorship.
