Dr. Jusuf Sjamsudin

Dr. Jusuf Sjamsudin is a highly respected orthodontist and educator affiliated with Universitas Airlangga (UNAIR). Born on November 26, 1954, in Gresik, he completed his dental degree at UNAIR in 1978, followed by a specialization in orthodontics, which he obtained in 1993. Dr. Sjamsudin has enhanced his expertise through several prestigious training programs, including orthognathic surgery training at the Australian Craniofacial Center in Adelaide and training in cleft lip and palate management at the Women and Children Hospital in Perth, both in 1994. He also participated in training at the Chang Gung Memorial Hospital in Taipei, Taiwan, focusing on both orthognathic surgery and cleft treatment in 1991. Dr. Jusuf has held prominent leadership roles at UNAIR, serving as the Head of the Orthodontics Department and the Orthodontic Specialist Program, and as the Vice Dean for Academic Affairs from 2007 to 2010. Additionally, he has actively contributed to the orthodontic community as a speaker and hands-on course instructor at the 17th Annual Meeting of the Indonesian Association of Orthodontists (IAO). His extensive experience and dedication to orthodontics underscore his significant impact on the field and the education of future orthodontists.
