Facial asymmetry was often neglected not only by the patient but also by doctors because the skeletal asymmetry was compensated by the dentition or masked by the soft tissue. However, if the underlying problems are not recognized, the occlusion would often get worse after orthodontic leveling and alignment.
In this lecture, I would demonstrate how to figure out the potential issue before the problem comes out and treat the patient in more effective ways. Provide different strategies to treat the facial asymmetry by either surgical or nonsurgical treatment.
Abstract :
This course explores how orthodontic miniscrews and self-ligating brackets work together to improve outcomes in complex cases. Discover why self-ligating systems outperform conventional brackets, and how simplified miniscrew insertion techniques can reduce irritation and increase success rates.
Still relying on conventional brackets or hesitant about miniscrews? It’s time to rethink.
