Orthodontic treatment for patients with dentocraniofacial disharmony requires a holistic and, if necessary, multidisciplinary approach. Orthodontic treatment, based on age and severity of malocclusion, can be performed using three methods: orthodontics alone, or in combination with growth direction modification, camouflage treatment, or orthognathic surgery, to achieve optimal functional and aesthetic balance. The management of skeletal Class II malocclusion treatment through growth modification will be described. Camouflage treatment is presented in a patient with facial asymmetry. Orthodontic surgical orthodontic treatment is discussed in two skeletal Class III cases: surgery first and orthodontics first. In some cases, a surgery-first approach may be used, where surgery is performed first to correct the jaw position, followed by orthodontic treatment to realign the teeth. Overall, these approaches must be tailored to the patient's specific clinical condition to achieve optimal results in both function and facial appearance.
