we wanted to use tinsel to make a cool looking backdrop behind where the contestants are but we are worried that it might interfere with the cameras and make it reflective and mess with the quality. a solution to this that we may have come up with a matte gold sheet instead to get rid of the reflectiveness. upon further research to the tinsel we have noticed it might not be as reflective as we thought so all we have to do is trial and fail
we have tested the gold tinsel and it looks good on camera so this will go against the white boards.
TREATMENT.docxGame show script3.docxtreatment- the treatment is all this different parts that are needed for a production ( target audience, outlying rules, visual elements, legal and ethical considerations) i looked into the legal and ethical side there is this thing called the watershed law which sets boundaries for what you can and cant say on tv.
script- me and chloe wrote the script chole did the right side with the speach but it is difficult as you cant script what the contestants agre going to say so we had to find a way around that then on the left side is thec amera shots and anglels
with these jobs I didn't feel that they were right for me i thought i wanted to do directing but when in that role it was a lot different to how i thought maybe it was who was on floor manager which may not have helped but when on the cameras i felt more at ease and i loved learning what does what and position the camera to get what i think works in shot
i got put on camera in the project along with Chloe and faith i had to focus on one team faith did the other team where as Chloe had to track matt and follow him around the set but the camera she was put unfortunately didn't have a screen and cause i did have a screen i wasn't doing a lot compared to Chloe so i switched cameras with her so it made the show run smoother which it did we did lots of rehearsal practice with the switch in place ant it worked well so when it came to the live shows e think what we did soled a lot of issues and the show ran well.
we unfortunately got a message on sunday the 11th from siris saying they have covid this messed us up a little cause now we had to find someone who will replace her on vt but most of the other team were on the panel (matt paige ben callum byrun) so we asked kaleb if he would like to do it and hoped that he can execute it well then on the day when it came to the day he managed to do it so well and everything on time.
