Location 📍

You're staying in the Sugar Skis—perfectly situated for winter skiing and year-round mountain adventures. In the colder months, you're just steps from the Ski Lodge and Ski Lifts. When the snow melts, you're only a short drive from the Golf and Tennis Courts. At Sugar Ski 613, you never miss any action staying directly next to the chair lifts. With the benefit of being ski-in/ski-out, you can easily walk directly from your unit to the slopes.

Before You Check Out 🧹

We appreciate your help with the following:

• Take out the trash to the enclosed outdoor bins 🐻

  • These can be found either in front of Building 3, or to the Sugar Mountain Convenience center outside the gate

• Load and start the dishwasher

• Leave used towels in the bathrooms

• Leave any beds that were slept in unmade

• Return any moved furniture to original place

⭐ If you don't have breakfast plans after your Departure, we highly recommend stopping by High Country Pies for a breakfast pie to-go on your way out of town; they are located at 3277 Tynecastle Hwy, Banner Elk, NC 28604 

House Information 🏡 

• Baseboard Heaters

  • Do not place anything on or against baseboards, it is a serious fire hazard.

  • Bedrooms, Living Room & Dining Area, Downstairs Hallway

    • Each bedroom has it's own control hub on the wall. There is also a control hub directly to the left when entering the front door upstairs, to the left of the kitchen windows, and in the hallway downstairs just outside the bedroom door. 

    • To adjust the temperature use the arrow buttons. The number on the screen shows the set temperature. Once set, the heater will automatically maintain that temperature.

      • The right arrow ▶️ is to raise the temperature, the left arrow ◀️ is to lower the temperature.

• Bathroom Toilets

  • Please do not flush wipes of any kind, including those labeled “flushable,” as they can cause clogs and sewage backups.

  • Only toilet paper should be flushed. All wipes should be disposed of in the trash. 

• Dishwasher

  • Press the Cycle button (furthest left) to choose your wash setting

  • Use the next two buttons to adjust:

    • Option 1: Dry heat or high temp

    • Option 2: Sani rinse or 4-hour delay

  • Press the Start ▶️ button to begin

  • To cancel a cycle, press the ❌ button

• Living Room TV

  • Use the Roku remote (power button is top center) to turn on the TV — this will take you to the home screen

  • Navigate over and down to “Stream Box” to access the Xumo box

  • Use the Xumo remote to open streaming apps or go to the Guide to watch live cable channels

• Laundry

  • Sugar Ski 613 has an in-unit washer and dryer that are stacked on each other
