You’re located in The Reserve, a condominium community perched near the summit of Sugar Mountain. At an elevation of around 5,200 feet it offers panoramic, multi-layered views of the Blue Ridge Mountains.

House Rules 🏠

• Check-Out Time

  • 10:00am 

  • Please Note: Your front door code will stop working at your Check-Out Time on your departure day; be sure to gather all your belongings and check out by this time

• Front Door Lock

  • Make sure you know your Access Code before leaving, you will need it to get back in

  • To lock the door when leaving press the Yale button at the top of the keypad

  • To unlock the door when returning, type in your 6-digit code then press the checkmark on the keypad

• Parking

  • Display your DHCV Parking Pass at all times

  • Please only park in front of Building 29

  • There is a 2 car maximum, if you are in need of overflow parking please reach out to our office

• Pets

  • No pets allowed

• Shoes

  • Please do not wear your ski boots or golf shoes inside

Before You Check Out 🧹

We appreciate your help with the following:

• Take out the trash to enclosed outdoor bins 🐻

  • Using Google Maps you can click the link for directions to the Village of Sugar Mountain Household Waste Site

• Load and start the dishwasher

• Leave used towels in the bathrooms

• Leave any beds that were slept in unmade

• Return any moved furniture to original place

⭐ If you don't have breakfast plans after your Departure, we highly recommend stopping by High Country Pies for a breakfast pie to-go on your way out of town; they are located at 3277 Tynecastle Hwy, Banner Elk, NC 28604 

House Information 🏡 

• Deck Sliding Doors

  • There is a lock on the Handles for the sliding glass doors, as well as a Foot Lock

  • Foot Lock: you must push the lever on the front of the Foot Lock in to unlock, and push the top of the Foot Lock down to lock it back up

• Dishwasher

  • Cycle button (far left): Choose your desired cycle

  • Delay button: Select if you want to delay the start

  • Hi Wash Temp / Sani Rinse: Press if desired

  • Dry Options: Choose Heat Dry or Extended Dry

  • Press the Start button (triangle symbol ▶️), then close the door to begin

  • To cancel a cycle, press the ❌ Cancel button

• Fireplace

  • Locate the small control box in front of the fireplace

  • Press the button on the right to turn the flame ON

  • To turn the flame OFF, return the switch to the remote setting

• Laundry

  • Washer

    • Load Size: Turn the left knob to choose your load size

    • Temperature: Use the next knob to select water temperature

    • Cycle: Use the right knob to select your wash cycle

    • To start, pull the cycle knob

    • To stop, push the knob back in

  • Dryer

    • Cycle: Turn the left knob to choose your drying cycle

    • Start: Press the right knob to begin

    • To stop, turn the cycle knob to OFF

    • The lint tray is located below the start knob — please clean it after each use

• Sliding Glass Doors

  • There is a foot lock at the bottom right of the door

• To unlock, push the small tab on the front inward

• To lock, push the top circular piece down

• There is also a lock behind the handle — turn it to the right to unlock
