GOLD -- Kindergarten screening assessment that is completed by guardians or Learning Coaches online.
DIBELS -- Administered to grades K-3, in person. (Students must be taken to a test site. Look for communication from the school about DIBELS testing so that you can make arrangements.)
LEAP360 -- Administered to students in grades 3-5, this online assessment is taken in the student's typical learning environment. It is taken initially as a diagnostic assessment during the first semester to identify the student's starting point in math and reading. Later in the school year, the student will take the LEAP360 interim assessment to identify growth and areas for continued development.
Please consider the following tips and suggestions to ensure your child has the best at-home test prep experience and the best testing experience possible:
Ensure the at-home learning/testing environment is free of distractions so your child can perform at his or her best level.
If your child has accommodations, please ensure that only approved accommodations are provided at home so that the student does not become accustomed to accommodations that will not be provided during state test events.
Encourage your child to attend Live Sessions as often as possible, and/or to (re)watch recordings.
Download the Parent Info letter from the student's Canvas account before the first morning of testing so that you are prepared.
