The student does not directly interact with targeted community or the environment, however, their actions have a direct positive impact.
Advocacy

The student publicly supports a cause or a policy and speaks on behalf of it to promote an action.
Research service
Research service
The student researches a topic and writes a report, that is important to influence a policy or a practice. The research is needed by another party/organization.
Product
Product
The student comes up with a product idea/prototype, that is possibly making a positive impact on society or environment.
