Requirements
Each year, the grade level will focus on a specific subset of outcomes with one additional outcome being added each year.
All MYP students will show achievement of a minimum of 3 outcomes per year (MYP 2 - 5 one new + from previous years).
All service as actions activities must:
Meet at least one of the above learning outcomes for your year group.
Address a need within a (local or global) community.
Involve interaction with people.
Involve evaluative reflection on the outcomes and personal learning.
Have a level of commitment.
Be documented with evidence on Managebac.
Teacher-initiated SA (Curriculum)
Teachers will provide at least one MYP unit driven SA experiences from one or more subjects per MYP year level.
MYP units should provide meaningful opportunities for SA experiences when possible.
Student-initiated SA
Students will engage with at least one at school-initiated SA experience per school year that will be organized and planned in Core classes (Core teachers and students).
Students will engage with at least one self-initiated, outside of school SA experience per school year that can be organized and planned in Core classes.
Students will engage with, at least, one teacher-initiated (curriculum) SA experience per MYP year that will be organized and planned in subject classes.
Learning outcomes
Students will address all seven learning outcomes at least once throughout MYP 1 - 5.
