As I sit to write this, it is 3:35 in the morning. I have just finished my second reading of ‘A Thousand Splendid Suns’ by Khaled Hosseini. It disturbed me, it shattered me into many pieces, just as it did in the first reading, if not more. As an insomniac, I have read many books sitting on this same bed since last four years. Some fascinated me, some helped me in becoming what I am today, but only a few of them shook me off to go back and reflect up on how we progressed yet managed to stay as and savage, unfair and inhuman as we are today. After this extremely exhausting roller coaster ride, it is Mr. Harry, Hermione and Ron who is going to help me out to calm down and settle down to have my usual fitful 3-hour sleep just like many other days. Yes, I do read Harry Potter even now, this is probably the umpteenth time. I somehow find solace in these books, it is probably I relate to Harry very much, too much in fact. It could be because both of us are orphans but certainly not because I have a Voldemort to kill.
Okay, just a little more about me before you conclude me as a nerd. Most often than not, you would always find me on the roads with a bunch of friends, though always with a white cane in my hand. Yes, I do not have a vision, both literally and abstractly. I’m an animal lover and a true non-vegetarian. I’m progressively global in the brain and biasedly local at my heart. I love writing and talking on and on and on about movies, music, food, animals, books and travelling. I’m piously non-religious and mundanely spiritual. I’m apolitical and often politically incorrect. Well, that is all I would like people to know about me, at least as of now. This page represents a range of work that I packaged to show off some of my skills, tastes, and abilities. Please take a tour and help yourselves with what you enjoy the most. Because I surely something for everyone!
Cheers!
