Hello! I am Anukriti Chaturvedi. I hold an honors degree in History from Kirori Mal College, Delhi University and I am currently pursuing my Masters in Communication (Media Practice) from the University of Hyderabad. I am a literary enthusiast as well as a critic with a penchant for writing and travelling, and excellent communication skills. I believe I have a firm grip over social media with a mind for creative ideation and a thirst to learn as much as possible.
I have worked at two of the world’s biggest publishers- HarperCollins India and Hachette India. In order to meet the requirements of the course, I was able to secure an internship at Hindustan Times Media Labs. I have experience in content creation including writing, audio and video editing and digital marketing.
Thanks to this course, I have developed upon my existing skills and gained a few as well, like producing podcasts and videos, photography, writing and using tools available on the internet to make multimedia packages.
I have also contributed to the University’s digital newsletter, UoH Herald. For our final semester, I am also the co-editor of our magazine, Vantage 2022, which we produce as part of our Features and Analytical Writing course.
I have been reviewing books for the past few years on my blog and Instagram. I get some of the books from publishers as early review copies in exchange for honest reviews. Apart from this, I initiated a YouTube segment called, Books Pe Charcha where I interviewed people from the publishing industry.
I have dipped my foot in various extra-curricular activities as well. I hold a distinction in the Indian classical dance form, Kathak and have represented my state at the School Games Federation of India in the field of sports, notably, shotput. I was also a part of my college's esteemed drama society, The Players.
I am looking forward to a flourishing career in the field of media and communication so I can give my dog the best life he deserves!
