Course Directory & Site Codes
The course directory (coursedirectory@umn.edu) is a student-facing resource that displays important information about each course offered in Undergraduate Medical Education. It also contains links to capacity reports to assist students with planning their schedules.
Coordinators are asked to regularly review the pages for each of their department's courses for accuracy.
Course directory updates can be submitted using the form linked at the bottom of each course page or by clicking the button below.
For course directory questions, contact clsched@umn.edu.
Each site that we send students to has a unique code. You can view the site codes table/key here.
AS-1000: Some courses use the AS-1000 site code to designate that students will be placed at a site after the drop/add deadline passes. We ask that any AS-1000 codes be replaced with actual site codes at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the period. Please reach out to clsched@umn.edu to submit actual site codes if you have courses that use the AS-1000 site code.
DU-1000: Some courses use the DU-1000 site code to designate that students will be placed at a Duluth-area site after the drop/add deadline passes. We ask that any DU-1000 codes be replaced with actual site codes at least 4 weeks prior to the start of the period. Please reach out to clsched@umn.edu to submit actual site codes if you have courses that use the DU-1000 site code.
DU-****: If a placement sends students to more than one Duluth-area site, a combined code beginning with DU- will be used.
CO-****: If a placement sends students to more than one TC-area site, a combined code beginning with CO- will be used.
Please check that your courses are using the appropriate site codes and that all sites students can go to as part of the site placement are represented in the site code. You can view the site codes table/key here.
