Rajat Kalra, MBChB

Rajat Kalra, MBChB is an Assistant Professor of Medicine. The majority of my current research work is focused on clinical projects exploring heart failure and cardiac arrest.

Among these fields, my research generally fits into the following three themes: evaluating mechanisms of heart failure; the use of biomarkers (including imaging) to define prognosis in heart failure; and the use of population science data (‘big data’) to evaluate outcomes in heart failure and cardiovascular disease. I conduct the majority of my work under the Center for Resuscitation Medicine with the guidance of Dr. Bartos and Dr. Yannopoulos. I would welcome the opportunity to work with fellows whether or not they have any prior experience with clinical research.
