Cassiopeia (Cassi) Camara is an interdisciplinary social scientist and research associate at the Center for Human Carnivore Coexistence at Colorado State University. Her research has focused on media analysis and integrating science, education, and outreach in conservation communication. She currently serves as the Environmental Education Specialist for the Virginia Department of Conservation and Recreation. Cassi's extensive background includes Chronic Wasting Disease research, captive canid welfare projects, and volunteering for initiatives such as the red wolf reintroduction program, alongside diverse communications and education roles within wolf-focused organizations.
