What's your Major/Minor? Why did you choose that major?
I am a junior studying computer science in the College of Engineering. I attended a hackathon with some friends during my senior year of high school, and we ended up winning the best hack award for a machine that could predict the quality of watermelon by tapping on it and using machine learning to analyze the sound. That was one of my first exposures to computer science, and I wanted to learn more about it in college.
What courses are you mentoring for this semester?
I'll be a mentor for EECS203 this semester! Ramani and I are here to help you on Mondays from 6:30-7:30PM and Wednesdays from 6:00-7:00PM via Zoom at this link (password: RenewCS) with any EECS 203 questions that arise in homework / lecture / exam prep :)
What internships have you had? What have you learned from them?
I interned at Amazon during the summer of 2021, specifically the AWS Fargate team. It was my first internship experience, and I learned a lot about the software development cycle used in the industry. This summer, I will be interning at Capital One.
What are your graduation plans?
I plan to finish my undergraduate degree during the fall of 2022 and potentially get a master's degree through the university's SUGS program.
Fun fact about yourself?
