Meet...Enoch Ameyaw!

What's your Major/Minor? Why did you choose that major?

I'm currently Majoring in Computer Science. I chose to study Computer Science because of the impact that it has on society as well as the new opportunities and solutions it is able to provide to the world.

What courses are you mentoring for this semester?

I'm currently mentoring for EECS183 this semester! Come visit Caroline and I on Thursday nights from 7-8PM via Zoom here if you need help with EECS183 labs, projects, or exam prep! :)

What internships have you had? What have you learned from them?

I interned at Amazon Web Services in Seattle, WA for Summer 2021 as a Software Development Engineer in the Game Tech department. Through this experience, I learned the importance of knowing when to ask for help. I felt like asking for help portrayed that I was incapable, but as time progressed, I learned that it is a part of the learning experience and that it is expected of me to ask for help in certain situations.

What are your graduation plans?

After I graduate, I plan on going into industry working as a Software Engineer and hopefully do more travelling. I do not know what the future has in store for me, but I look forward to whatever it is.

Fun fact about yourself?

I did an aviation program where I got a chance to co-pilot a helicopter at 15!
