Meet...Melina O'Dell!

What's your Major/Minor? Why did you choose that major?

I'm a junior studying Computer Science through the College of Engineering. As a kid, I was really into computers and video games, and so I took a leap of faith choosing CS when applying for university. I fell in love with the logic and the organization that comes with coding after my first programming class and knew I wanted to keep going.

What courses are you mentoring for this semester?

I mentor for EECS 203!

What internships have you had? What have you learned from them?

I'll be interning at Learning A-Z here in Ann Arbor this summer. I hope to learn more about full-stack development!

What are your graduation plans?

I intend to go straight into a full-time software engineering role after graduating April 2023.

Fun fact about yourself?

I'm still really into video games and I play whenever I'm not studying! Fortnite and Beat Saber are my favorites right now. :)
