UM Research Gallery (UMRG) is a platform to expand research network and establish cross-disciplinary collaborations to solve real-life issues with research. By bringing together experts from different fields, the complex problems can be tackled from a holistic perspective and innovative solutions can be co-developed to address the diverse needs of society.

The main aim of UMRG is to encourage knowledge exchange and dissemination, which is a crucial element in driving innovation and advancement. With this program, we aim to establish UM as a leading research-intensive university and promote UM's research capabilities, technologies, and expertise to the wider community. We hope that this program will spark new collaborations and partnerships, lead to commercialization opportunities and ultimately contribute towards societal and economic development. 

Objectives: 

1. showcasing of UM research and innovation initiatives and outcomes

2. sharing and communicating research from different disciplines with the community, which includes researchers, industry, the media, and the general public

3. meeting, connecting, and engaging with researchers, industries, the media, and the general public

Other than the usual research exhibits (booths, posters, product/prototype displays, photos), the UMRG venue will also include reading and relax corner, photobooth, 'Share your opinion' board,  short video clips with seating and a refreshment area.
