The symposium's goals are to serve as a platform for the government agencies, industries and policy makers to share direction and planning of future energy related area with UM researchers. Aside from that,  to create understanding among UM researchers on the direction of future energy by government agencies, industries and policy makers. Last but not least, to establish linkages between UM researchers and government agencies, industries and policy makers involved in future energy related area
