The Regional Network for Peacebuilders Project (Sangha for Peace), run by the International Network of Engaged Buddhists (INEB), is a two-year project funded by USAID and implemented by FHI 360.
Sangha for Peace is part of a bigger initiative by USAID and FHI360 called Networks for Peace. Network of Peace strengthens civil society initiatives that promote and amplify moderate voices of peace and inclusivity.
The project fosters positive, collective engagement across South and Southeast Asia and supports local partners to champion religious tolerance, gender equality and social inclusion. (details attached).
More than 50 people have attended the program with 20 of them from Sangha for Peace have made a visit to the Universiti Malaya Centre for Civilizational Dialogue (UMCCD) and to engage in dialogues on the April 28, 2023, at the green and serene venue of the UM Rimba Ilmu Botanical Garden.
