The Self Help Center can provide court forms and legal information for the following legal issues:
Family Law, Restraining Orders, Landlord/Tenant (limited assistance), Name Change/Gender Change, Civil - breach of contract collection cases only, Collections, Small Claims, Provide community and legal resources and more.

Tenant education service located in Santa Cruz
Offer consultation regarding rent increases, eviction, repairs and habitability, security deposits, harassment, lease provisions and other disputes. No legal representation offered at this time.
Drop-in counseling hours - Tenants can speak with volunteer tenant counselors about any tenant-landlord issue. Counselors provide resources and information on statewide civil codes, health and safety codes, and municipal ordinances. Offered on Wednesdays from 10:30am to 2:30pm at Live Oak Resource Center at 1740 17th Avenue
