Coastal Science Campus

All lower division courses are taught on the main campus on High Street.  Not until you begin your upper division BIOE courses will your classes be on the Coastal Science Campus (CSC).  When you do have a course scheduled on the CSC, here is what you should know about classroom locations:

Courses located in “CoastBio” rooms are held at the Coastal Biology Building (CBB). 

Courses located in “Lg Discovery” rooms are held at the Seymour Marine Discovery Center. 

Courses located in “Ocean Health” rooms are held at the Ocean Health Building. 

These facilities are located at UCSC’s Coastal Science Campus. They are not located on the main campus. Please carefully check the location of your courses and account for appropriate travel time when planning your schedule.

Coastal Science Campus Parking and Metro Bus Service

Free parking is available along Delaware St. The Metro Bus Route 20 provides service to the Coastal Campus.  Please plan for wait and travel time if taking public transit to and from CSC.
