Monday 03/23 - Today Ariana and Rishi were in the workshop cutting wood which will be behind the monitor to act as support. We cut two panels which will hold and secure the monitor in place. Then Mr. Rojas supplied us with a stand and some spare pieces we can possibly use to hang up the moniter to the wood we cut. This is iterate step of the design process.
Tuesday 03/24 - Today Radha and Rishi set up the coding material and started coding. We will be using our external SD card as a storage system. We also asked Mr. Rojas for help on how to use the SD card. This is iterate step of the design process.
Wednesday 03/25 - Today we CNC'd our slit on to our piece of wood. This had to be extremley thin due to our mirror being very thin. We had to make sure it was precise and asked Mr. Rojas for the right bit. He used a .5 bit and we were able to CNC a perfect slit. This is iterate step of the design process.
Thursday 03/26 - Today we cut our wood so that it could be leveled and perfected. We had to take .25 from both parts of the top and made sure to update our fusion first, and then transfer it onto our wood as we had to be super precise. This is iterate step of the design process.
Friday 03/27 - Today we continued cutting our wood as yesterday we ran out of time. Nearing the end of class we asked Mr. Rojas to generate a g-code for our last part that needs to be CNC'd but came across a bit of concerns. Mr. Rojas said that we would need to make the holes further apart for our speaker to avoid the holes breaking. This is iterate step of the design process as we are iterating and implementing Mr. Rojas' suggestions.
Two week plan- In the next two weeks we plan on wrapping up our project because showcase will will be 2 weeks after that. We plan on finishing all our CNC and working soley on mastering our code. We also plan on placing all our items in our mirror and assembling that along with the monitor. We also plan on working the hinges and wiring for the speakers and Arduino.
