Monday 02/02 - Finalized BOM and materials to order and checked the fusion prototype for any missing materials and obstructions when building, finalizing the dimensions of the wood, power supply, etc. This is part of the prototype step and the evaluate step In the design process as we are comparing our prototype materials to the real materials we will be using.
Tuesday 02/03 - Went over materials list and FINAL BOM with Mr. Rojas and submitted to Mr. Church for order. We also planned out the dimensions we would need for our wood frame so we can start assembling next week and build the frame. This is the "share" part of the testing process as we are trying to figure out what dimensions work best for our mirror and what we need to order to build the mirror.
Wednesday 02/04 - Now that we have our materials list submitted to order, we moved on to the next step--Code. For the code, we had to go through our previously researched applications. These were "MagicMirror^2 and Docker. We decided to download the applications on the MAC and see how well it would work. This is part of the Test & Evaluate step of the Design Process.
Thursday 02/05- After testing out Docker we decided to test another application to see which would be most effective. We could not download these applications on our school chromebooks (as it was only compatible with Mac or Windows and also because of school restrictions on downloads) so we decided to test this on a Mac. This is part of the Test & Evaluate step of the Design Process. We are testing to see which application is most efficient, compatable, and effective to use for our Smart Mirror.
Friday 02/06- With the week coming to an end, we continued working on our code with apllications. It was time for us to start planning out the code and seeing what exactly we would need to write for all our functions to work smoothly. This required us to have a layout of trial and error code that we could use. We had to make a judgement between which application to use. This is part of the Test & Evaluate step of the Design Process. We are testing to see what exactly we would
