This project develops an intervention for parents of kids who are overweight and obese and have autism. Using qualitative data, interventions for this population and designs for some of its components are made and discussed in a 10-page paper examining the research.

Relationship Between Weather and Heart Rate in Collegiate Female Soccer Athletes
In a 10-page paper, this project includes and summarizes data from 10 TWU soccer players who participated in a number of tests where their heart rates are recorded. These tests include a field velocity test and a submaximal treadmill test. A Pearson product moment correlation is used to determine the correlation between VO2 max, running velocity, and a peak heart rate during the field test.

Survey of the Nutrition and Dietitian Referral Practices of Pediatricians in the Dallas-Fort-Worth Area
This project performs a more in-depth survey and review of the role pediatric physicians play in referring patients to registered dietitians as a result of the unsuccessful Texas Medicaid Childhood Obesity Prevention pilot project. The final project includes a written report, consisting of the Survey Research project and background literature review research, 10-15 pages in length.
