In order to best serve our TWU Honors Scholar Program students, a LibGuide webpage specific to your needs has been developed. Please carefully read the information below.
Access the University Archives Capstone Collection site here.
Then, navigate to the 'Viewing Request Form' tab and complete the Capstone Access Form. This form submission will trigger the review and approval process by the Honors Programs staff, which in turn will allow the University Archives staff to prepare and share the requested materials. Make sure you are logged in to your internet browser with your TWU email address.
You can submit a request for access to 3 projects at one time. If you would like access to more than 3 projects, you’ll need to submit a second or third request with the Capstone Access Form.
Please understand that request receipt, request approval and request fulfillment may take up to 7 business days.
When materials are ready, University Archives Staff will contact the requestor by email and provide the special link to access the project(s). You will have 7 calendar days of viewing access, after which the link will expire.
Digital access will include a watermark on the project(s) and downloads or screenshots are strictly prohibited.
If there are physical components of the project that you would like to also view, you will need to coordinate access by appointment only with University Archives staff. If you have special accessibility requests, please contact University Archives staff and they will be happy to assist.
For assistance please email womansc@twu.edu; fill out the Ask an Archivist form; or call 940-898-3751.
Honors students must contact University Archives staff to make an appointment for in-person viewing access. For assistance, please email smbickle@twu.edu; fill out the Ask an Archivist form; or call 940-898-3752.
Students are permitted to request 3 to 5 capstone projects at a time for review. Students are assigned a locker upon arrival that they will use to secure their possessions before entering the Reading room. Paper and pencils or an electronic paper and pencil are the only items students are permitted to bring into the viewing room. Purses, backpacks, food/drink/gum, cell phones, etc. are not permitted.
Project materials do not leave the viewing room. If a student has to leave the viewing room for any reason, materials remain in the Reading Room until the student checks back in with the University Archives front desk staff to regain access to the Reading Room.
Once a student has completed their review, University Archives materials remain on the table in the Reading Room. The student then exits to retrieve their personal belongings in their assigned locker. The student completes their check out by returning their key to the University Archives front desk staff member.
