This project researches silver diamine fluoride and a needs assessment of the population to present and recruit participants. The final product consists of a 10-page paper on silver diamine fluoride, an outline of a program plan included in powerpoint presentation, and application of silver diamine fluoride in a clinic day.

The Sound of Silence: A Look Into Noise-Induced Hearing Loss
This project includes a paper and an educational module investigating hearing loss due to an excessive amount of noise. The project also includes ways to combat noise-induced hearing loss and ways to help limit the effects after being diagnosed. The final product consists of a 10-page paper and the online educational module that will be implemented in Dr. Wainscott’s future classes.

Supporting Language Development in Spanish-English Sequential Bilingual Children, Taking Into Account Cross-Linguistic Differences
This project analyzes the narrative language skills of Spanish-English bilingual students through the creation of a collection of therapy lesson plans that support language development in Spanish-English sequential bilinguals. Articulated through a research paper, this project aims to be a teaching tool for speech-language pathologists in order to educate them about the typical language variations that occur in English narratives of the Spanish-English bilingual student population.
