Welcome to the 2026-2027 school year!
I hope everyone had an amazing summer! I am so excited to see all your smiley faces at the Meet the Teacher event on August 4, 2026. You will come meet me during one of the two scheduled time frames which are: 11am-1pm and between 4-6pm.
This is a time for us to meet each other, see your new classroom and drop off required supplies (see list below). You will also pick up your agenda for the year. The cost for the agenda is $6 and $1 for your ID badge. I am so excited for this time to connect with you.
A few important things to know:
Contact: Primary contact is through my email brenda.tain@tvcs.org, but I am available for phone calls and conferences per request.
Folders: go home daily and are to be returned back to school every day. Please check your child's agenda every night! Additionally, please remember to check the "return" and "keep home" pockets for any notices, school work, etc.
Snack: Please send in a healthy snack with your child each day. The students have snack time daily. This snack needs to be sent in outside of their lunch box.

PI Options: Classroom Wishlist - This is not required but you can earn PI time with receipts sent in. I appreciate anything you are able to send in. Below is a list of items our classroom is currently in need of: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/23FNXJ30MWPQB?ref_=wl_share
Homework ( Practice Packets) are sent home Mondays. They are given out on Monday (Friday by request) and they are due the following Friday. More explanations to come.
