What a great month August has been! It has been a true pleasure getting to know all my 2nd Graders and their families!
This month will be full of excitement and lots of learning! We will start our Practice Packets this month. Please review these skills with your child and return the packets to me on Fridays.
Progress Reports are just around the corner on September 8th, so be sure to check your child's Skyward Grades.
Founder's Day is on Friday, September 11th from 5:30-8:30pm at the Middleton Campus. This night will be filled with fun for the entire family.

A few important things to know:
Contact: Primary contact is through my email brenda.tain@tvcs.org, but I am available for phone calls and conferences per request.
Folders: go home daily and are to be returned back to school every day. Please check your child's agenda every night! Additionally, please remember to check the "return" and "keep home" pockets for any notices, school work, etc.
Snack: Please send in a healthy snack with your child each day. The students have snack time daily. This snack needs to be sent in outside of their lunch box.

PI Options: Classroom Wishlist - This is not required but you can earn PI time with receipts sent in. I appreciate anything you are able to send in. Below is a list of items our classroom is currently in need of: https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/23FNXJ30MWPQB?ref_=wl_share
Homework ( Practice Packets) are sent home Mondays. They are given out on Monday (Friday by request) and they are due the following Friday. More explanations to come.
