My name is Mrs. Getts. I am excited to have you in class this year! This is my seventh year teaching and my first year teaching here at The Villages Charter School. I have taught in Indiana, Texas, and now Florida. I am looking forward to getting to know you and have a wonderful school year together.

A Few Reminders

Snack & Water Bottles: We will have snack every day. Please provide your student with a healthy snack to enjoy without peanuts please. Water bottles are encouraged. We have a drinking fountain outside our classroom where students are able to refill their water bottle.
Agendas: We will use our agendas each day to write down our homework (if assigned) and any important reminders. This is a great place to jot down a note for me. Agendas will be check each morning.
Read, Read, Read!: Each week, students will be given a short passage to read at home. Students are encouraged to read not only this passage but other texts as well. This is a great time to spend with your student!
