I hope everyone had an amazing summer! I am so excited to meet students and families on Tuesday, August 4! There are two scheduled blocks for this year's Meet-the-Teacher event, between 11am-1pm and 4-6pm. Please choose the time that works best for you. This is a wonderful time for us to meet each other, for students to see their new classroom, and for school supply drop-off!
A few important things to know:
📞Contact- My preferred mode of contact this year is through Parent Square. I am also available by phone, and can schedule Parent-Teacher conferences by request. You can also reach me by email at <Stephanie.Chiaro@TVCS.org>. Please note that I will do my best to respond to messages within 24 hours during the school week.
📂 Agendas/ Folders: Agendas/ folders will go home every night, and should be returned the next day. (Please note that agendas cost $6 and ID badges are $1). Students will update agendas with homework daily.
🍎 Snack: Please send in one healthy snack for your student each day.
📖 Homework: Students will complete 10 minutes of reading each night, for a total of 40 minutes weekly. Math homework will be recorded in students' agendas daily. Students should bring their math workbooks home at night, and return them the next day. All homework will be checked on Fridays.
